Carmen Thyssen Malaga Museum, opened on March 24, 2011, which houses theCarmenThyssen-Bornemisza Collection, is located in thePalacio de Villalón, a 16th-century town palace on Calle Compañía, inthe historic center ofthe city. The Museum's Permanent Collection comprises around 230 works, offering an outstanding and exceptionally coherent survey of 19th-century Spanish art,with a particular focus on Andalusia.
